Hey....

Anybody else remember back a year and a half ago when Zero's low-level staffers were being thrown under the bus? Or even when some not-so-low-level staffers were thrown under that same bus (but later, miraculously, recovered from her injuries)?

Point being...Zero has habit of blaming others for things he ought to be standing up for.

Like.....his oft-repeated claim of the benefit we're deriving from his Stimulus-inspired "saved or created jobs".

And now this charade is coming apart too. The numbers he is reporting are outrageously inaccurate. So inaccurate, in fact, as to be claimed from Congressional districts that themselves do not exist. So, who is to blame for the reporting of this inaccurate data? Yeah...you guessed it...

"...Late Monday, officials with the Recovery Board created to track the stimulus spending, said the mistakes in crediting nonexistent congressional districts were caused by human error.

"We report what the recipients submit to us," said Ed Pound, Communications Director for the Board.

Pound told ABC News the board receives declarations from the recipients - state governments, federal agencies and universities - of stimulus money about what program is being funded.

"Some recipients clearly don't know what congressional district they live in, so they appear to be just throwing in any number. We expected all along that recipients would make mistakes on their congressional districts, on jobs numbers, on award amounts, and so on. Human beings make mistakes," Pound said...."

Yes. You, the dumb public, are to be blamed for the bad data being reported by Zero's administration.

No. You don't say....

"By a 2-to-1 margin Americans believe that no matter how bad things are, Congress can make them worse."

"Following passage of the stimulus bill, consumer confidence fell to a record low. It has been falling to new lows will regularity since early 2008. Confidence in the nation’s banking system also has plummeted.

President’s Obama’s overall approval ratings have remained steady and high since his inauguration. However, Republicans have gained ground on Democrats in Generic Congressional Ballot polling.

Most Americans believe tax cuts are good for the economy, and half (48%) say that more government spending is bad for the economy.

Polling last week showed that 67% of Americans trust their own judgment on economic matters more than the trust the average member of Congress. Forty-nine percent (49%) trust their own judgment more than the president’s."

Gawd.

You just gotta love Matt Drudge.

Who knew? Democrats are opposed to Zero's plan!

Yes. That's what is desperately needed here. An "exit strategy".

Drudge also notes that the spokes may be coming off the wheel (to use a favorite term from an internet friend). I can't find it now, but I ran across an article yesterday making the point that the US consumer is tapped out on taking on more debt, and that others in the world (China, primarily) aren't willing to buy any of it.

Trouble approaches. Gotta get the new toy up and running, before The Apocolypse hits.

Click here. I ran across this at Powerline, and it was an ad that leads here. I don't really know how these blog ads work (I suspect that they change moment-to-moment), but it gave me pause.

Think about this: "...[A] free government grant that you don't have to pay back."

Folks, there is no such thing as "a free government grant". If you believe that there is, you also have to believe in a perpetual motion machine.

"A free government grant" gets paid by someone. It may be free to you, but its not free to us. We are taxed to provide the funds for these grants. And when you become wealthy enough to become one of us, you too will be taxed to provide a "free government grant" to someone else. And if we aren't taxed, then the Fed. or somebody will be printing money out of thin air.

Whatcha gonna do with your Stimulus money?

They tell you right on the label that it's not butter.
