Sunday morning talk shows.....

So here I sit in Jacksonville in a hotel I hate with a TV spectrum that does not include Fox News watching Meet the Press (which I can barely tolerate).

David Axelrod is the guest this morning, and he's spent much of his interview defending the failing healthcare initiative.

He also was asked about Zero's plan this next week to address the nation's school children. And in that vein, Axelrod said that he was a bit perplexed that Zero's message of stressing individual initiative and responsibility was being rebuffed.

I was struck with the contrast between his plan to socialize health care, yet stress individual achievement in academics.

The first time I heard about this, the article talked about the homework that was being prepared to go along with the speech. It included a question asking the kids how they could help the POTUS. I did not like that at all, especially when the Presidents opponents all expect education camps in the future. Sure sounded a lot like a youth education program to me.

Now if the question had been, how can the student help America, I would not have had a problem with it. To not allow our President to talk to the students is shameful and depressing that we have become this divided.

But these spinsters who are come out and say we are crazy for being upset are ignorant to the current state of affairs in this country.

This has nothing to do with the POTUS speaking to children and telling them to stay in school and study hard.

THIS HAS TO DO WITH WHAT LOOKED LIKE A SPEACH TO GET OUR CHILDREN TO ASSIST THE POTUS IN SPREADING HIS MESSAGE "SOCIALISM".

I think references to 1984 are used to often but when it fits it fits. For those who have not read it, the children are used to spy on their own parents.
